Azur Confort

Our story begins in the 1930s when the founding family of Azur Confort came to settle in Chartreuse, in the French Alps. At the time, they made folding doll chairs.

At the end of the 40’s, they respond to a request from a bistro owner who wishes to equip his terrace with these armchairs, in an “adult” format! The F101 armchair was born.

Its distribution really took off in the 1950s thanks to the founder’s son, and then became this iconic object. Indeed, Café Sénéquier then ordered its first red armchairs and tables for its terrace located on the port of Saint-Tropez. 60 years later, the partnership between our two firms still exists.

The adventure became that of Azur Confort in 1989, by two of his grandchildren.

Since the takeover in 2016 by Raphaël VOISINE, we have increased the furniture offering and strengthened personalization, and have made Azur Confort a brand.

Today, our manufacturing of wooden furniture, in an eco-responsible process, offers professionals and individuals a complete range of quality outdoor furniture.

It is recognizable by its red signature which highlights our French manufacturing.
